Pressing Matters

An inky celebration of modern printmaking.
Interviewing artists and working with publicists and galleries, I write upwards of 15 short and long form articles for each issue, and I sub- and copy-edit contributing artists' words to keep everything in line with house style and editorial tone.

The Modernist

Revelling in all things mid-century.
All written content for the magazine goes through me. I work with guest editors to copy-edit essays on a huge variety of subjects, fact and sense checking along the way, before doing a final proof-read before it goes off to print. And I write the occassional thing too.

Five years ago I was gifted a subscription to The Modernist for my birthday. Excited to devour its mid-century geekery, I began flicking through the pages, and, to my horror, found typo after typo. Taking immediate action, I offered to proof-read all future issues in return for free magazines, and I have been fiddling with words ever since.
